  2. Solution-based
  3. Open-ended

Factors in productive decision making

The following factors can help a team’s decision making ability.

  • Individuals all have strong communication skills
  • Power balanced among team members
  • Group size less than 10
  • Group members are familiar with each other
  • No unresolved past conflicts
