Types of disabilities

Statistics Canada gathers information through the Canadian Survey on Disability (CSD). The survey runs every five years. The CSD classifies disabilities into ten categories. They are, in order of prevalence:

1. Pain
2. Flexibility
3. Mobility
4. Mental health
5. Seeing
6. Hearing
7. Dexterity
8. Learning
9. Memory
10. Developmental
